Eleven is an independent design studio working across transportation and product design. Our work is driven by a careful understanding of people, materials, and how objects are experienced over time.
Our Story
Eleven was born from a love of thoughtful design and the coming together of long-standing collaborators with a shared ambition to create exceptional work.
After building our careers in internationally recognised studios, we found ourselves drawn back to the same idea: creating a practice where every project is shaped with care, every relationship is personal, and the people designing the work remain closely involved from first sketch to final outcome. Eleven is the result of that belief.
Our ambition is to create work that leaves a lasting mark, not through novelty, but through clarity of thought, enduring relevance and meaningful impact. We aspire to help shape the future of the industries we work in, creating products and experiences that raise expectations, guide our clients towards better decisions, and demonstrate the lasting value of thoughtful design.

Core Team
Eleven is a collective of highly experienced design experts. The team you meet, are the team that will do the work.

Daniel Flashman
Design Direction
18
years experience
Daniel began his career designing luxury Swiss watches at Christoph Behling Design, before moving into transport interiors at Tangerine, including rail programmes for CRRC and aviation interiors for airlines including Gulf Air and British Airways' new First suite. He speaks regularly at industry conferences including Future Travel Experience and Redcabin, and is a vocal advocate for AI in design, and for the work it frees designers to do.

Young Choo
Strategic Insight
22
years experience
Young has spent her career leading design programmes for LG, Samsung, Hyundai Motor and AmorePacific, having headed Tangerine’s Seoul studio since 2014. She holds a doctorate from Brunel University London, where her research explored how design and manufacturing organisations collaborate, and how that relationship can create greater business value. At Eleven, she brings this perspective to client partnerships, connecting design with business strategy to shape programmes that are both creatively ambitious and commercially relevant.

Tom Earl
CMF & Visualisation
12
years experience
Tom came to transport from hospitality, working on hotel interiors and furniture at PearsonLloyd before moving into cabin interiors at Factorydesign and then Tangerine. He works between CMF, 3D design and high-fidelity visualisation — not as three stages but as one continuous act of deciding what something will be.

Sandra Flashman
Interior Architect
21
years experience
Trained in architecture and industrial design, Sandra designs for experience first. She uses materiality to shift a space from needed to wanted, creating interiors that are tactile, engaging and hard to leave. Her past projects include the Lufthansa business class seat at PearsonLloyd and interiors for Virgin Holidays and the W Hotel. Now practising as an interior architect in her own right, she asks the question beneath every brief: what makes a place people want to be in.

Cameron Baker
Engineering
19
years experience
Cameron started out in New Zealand, designing automated production machinery for medical devices at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. He moved to London to engineer airline seating mechanisms at Tangerine, then worked on projects including EV charging, drug delivery and carbon capture at PDD, and a click-on electric bike motor at Skarper. Having built the machines that make products, he designs with the production line already in mind.
